Using mortise and tenon joints and pegging the construction of this contemporary coffee table has been totally inspired by the internal timber structures of the French countryside in which we live. 

The reclaimed wood that we use for this table and all our furniture in fact comes from the very buildings that have informed our designs.  Because of the nature of the materials we use each piece will inevitably have an individual character of its own.
