ON THE MAKERS WORKSHOP BENCH THIS WEEK
We are always super busy at this time of year. Everyone seems to want a dining table in time for Christmas. And they all happen to be huge tables, so there much muscle flexing and plenty going on in the Makers workshop. We have three Curved Base Refectory Tables to make, a Bespoke Oak Dining Table with a bench to match. And we are also rather pleased to be working on a new design for a refectory table – yet another one with beautiful curves. We are looking forward to adding it to our product pages next year.
Making our clients feel involved
As we are working on a piece for each client I will always try and take progress photos and pass them on. That way our clients can feel really involved in everything that is going on in the Makers workshop. Because we are such a small team and everything is completely handmade, we actually only make a small number of items each year. But that does mean that we can give each client and their project, our complete attention. We can remember the name of every client even from years back. So this week is no exception, and I have taken a few photos to send to our current clients. I tend to share them with our Makers Facebook page too. Here are a few that I have shared so far this week….
Our Current Lead Times
We are also, by the way, already getting quite booked up for next year too. So if you have something you’d like us to make, please do get in touch as early as you can so that we try and fit in with your deadline. Our lead time can change at any moment as orders come in and large projects take time and thought.
